On Monday, clypd’s own Jason Burke, VP of Product will be running the annual Boston Marathon on Patriot’s Day.
Jason first crossed the Boston finish line in 1994 and this year’s race will mark his 23rd Boston Marathon. In 2002, Jason even crossed the official finish line twice – he ran from the finish to the start line and then ran the marathon again from start to finish.
He may have raced the Boston Marathon 23 times, but Jason hasn’t stopped at Boston. Jason has run a total of 53 marathons, including races in 21 out of the 50 states, and four out of seven continents. He’s run marathons in Argentina, Australia, England, and France.
Of course, a consummate product guy, he’s created quite the website for his marathon stats, where you can slice and dice race data by location, weather condition, spontaneous marathons (these are ones that he ran within 10 days of deciding to participate). He’s even sorted his marathons by job – unfortunately for us, races while he’s worked at clypd don’t rank too highly.
We couldn’t be more proud of this guy and an essential part of the clypd family. Help us wish Jason good luck on his 54th marathon!
